Psychology Club President
2015-2016
As the Psychology Club President I was responsible for organizing the monthly group meetings, mediating member disagreement, planning the annual trip to the Eastern Psychological Association Conference, and organizing club functions and fundraisers alongside my Vice President. We mediated member disagreement and ultimately directed the club towards a path of better functioning group dynamics and communication, and the club flourished more than it had in years prior. There was a larger presence on campus and greater awareness of the Psychology Club as a club.
Kevin Guest House
2013-2016
I participated semi-annually in meal preparation at Kevin Guest House. Kevin Guest House is a volunteer program that provides patients at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute with free meals. With a team, I would purchase food items and ingredients to make an entire meal of our choosing for the patients. After preparation the team sits with the patients for dinner and socializes together. We then would clean the mess and place any leftovers in the refrigerator for the patients to eat as wanted.
